Claire Price is an accomplished photographer, musician and painter.

Born in Auckland New Zealand in 1975, she began publishing photos for local fashion and pop culture magazines Pavement and Lava whilst still a student at Canterbury University’s Ilam School of Fine Arts.

In 1999 she released her first single and video under the moniker Clearlight in her native New Zealand before moving to France in 2001 to pursue her music and art.

Based in Paris for 15 years she juggled work as a fashion and portrait photographer in Paris and London with writing, recording and performing with her band. 

Her band Frank!!! signed a publishing deal with Universal France in 2011, played the famed “Olympia” and released 2 EP’s between 2008 - 2011

Her photographic work has appeared on album covers, in magazines, fashion campaigns, and in advertising in Paris, London, Sydney, Auckland and New York. 

In 2016 she relocated to Brooklyn New York with her young son and husband. 

She is currently working full time as an artist. In March 2016 she had her first solo show at Ora Gallery in NYC and participated in 2 other group shows in the same gallery.

She continues to shoot fashion and portrait images, ever merging the lines between the disciplines to create her own unique distinctive vision
